Raz+Majette Designs is a creative partnership formed by Tracey Raz and Lydia Majette who joined talents in 1999.  This award winning team work together during the design process where they combine their unique backgrounds and creative ideas.  They are currently also custom manufacturing a line of luxury handbags and exotic pillows for regional boutiques and private individuals. 

Their projects range from large private residences and smaller historic homes to hotels and retail stores.  Their interiors offer an eclectic mix of styles that reference the past while maintaining a contemporary flair.  We appreciate the unique challenges each project offers.  Listening to the client and good communication throughout the entire design process are key to a successful design.  We create personal spaces that fulfill and often exceed our client's expectations.  Our services range from hourly consultations to managing a project in its entirety.

Tracey Raz was born in London.  She lived in London and Israel before moving to San Diego, California where she now resides.

BFA in Interior Design - The Design Institute of San Diego; Graduated with top honors

Certificate in Museum Studies

Associates degree in Fine Arts

Tracey has an appreciation and knowledge of historic architecture, she researches and writes articles for the San Diego Old House Fair.

Lydia Majette was born in North Carolina, and lived throughout the South until completing college, where upon she moved to San Diego, California, where she now resides.

           Certificate of Learning – The Fashion Institute of San Diego: fashion design, construction & pattern making

           BFA in Interior Design – The Design Institute of San Diego: graduated with top honors
